The Students of Year 3 were very excited to be a part of World Science Day. The main purpose of this day is to strengthen public awareness of the role of science for peaceful and sustainable societies. The day started with some interesting facts about Science. Year 3 students were given a chance to be a scientist and they were encouraged to propose an invention that can promote sustainability. They were eager to present and explain about their works. Children’s work included time travelers, smoke reducer, robots who can help gardeners to grow fresh plants, etc. They indeed gave the meaning to the adage – Necessity is the mother of all inventions.
