The International Day of Families was observed on May 15th and served as a reminder to cherish and strengthen family bonds, recognizing the fundamental unit that forms the foundation of our communities. The students viewed the message by Gems Education Founder, Mr. Sunny Varkey who conceived, ‘Family First’, a global movement for change that would encourage GEMS families to spend more time together, exploring new frontiers of experience, and tapping into the wealth of knowledge and wise counsel within the home unit that too often goes undiscovered. The students expressed the importance of the family by posting their thoughts on a Padlet. They shared some of the favorite moments that they cherished with the family.
