We celebrated World Oceans Day on 8th June by learning about importance of oceans. The event was a great platform for students to reflect and present their views on the importance of preserving our marine life and not to pollute oceans. On this occasion, an esteemed environmental engineer Ms. Shaheen Bohra who is a Remediation Specialist, KERP Project, Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait (KERP - Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program. It’s the biggest environmental restoration project by United Nations across the globe) had the privilege of addressing a group of enthusiastic year 3 children. Her captivating presentation centered around the significance of our oceans and the urgent need for their preservation. Aiza, Aditya & Eileen of 3H prepared amazing videos on the importance of Oceans, causes of pollution and ways to preserve our beloved Oceans.
