We celebrated Well Being Week from 15th- 19th January 2023. Day 1: Mindfulness and Relaxation: 3G student Chanud Kalingage, alongside his brother Yashod Kalingage from 5H, led the meditation session. It was very enlightening session for the students. |
Transitioning to Day 2, the spotlight shifted to physical health. Year 3 students captivated by a video, translating the positive vibes into an energetic PE lesson! During Day 3, students directed their efforts towards crafting impactful posters that underscored the importance of mental well-being. Transitioning to Day 4, a vibrant atmosphere of creativity permeated the space as students engaged in a collective and expressive crafting experience, promoting not only artistic expression but also a sense of shared creativity. Day 5 brought about a shift outdoors, where students immersed themselves in the school garden, fostering a tangible connection with nature. These consecutive days of diverse activities aimed to holistically address well-being, embracing the realms of mental health, creativity, and a harmonious bond with the natural environment.
