Students of 3A hosted the class assembly on UAE National Day. They shared the significance of celebrating UAE national day and how the six emirates unified to form a nation and the seventh emirates joined them later. Students demonstrated that UAE is a blessing; it follows the motto “live and let others live”. UAE gives us what is most needed for a good life, peace, contentment, respect, and happiness. Student from different countries thanked UAE government for giving them opportunity and equality.
The people of UAE salute to the father of the Nation H. H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan on this day. “Spirit of Union” is the theme that is followed from several years. UAE National Day is a time when locals and expatriates gather together to celebrate and various activities from dazzling firework displays to elaborate parades and glittering ceremonies can be seen.
Importance of UAE Flag and meaning and purpose of different colours in them was shared. The UAE flag represents meanings of justice, peace, tolerance, power and moderation, under which all Emiratis live a decent life and enjoy security and stability. The event came to an end with music and dance by students on Emirati Song.
