Primary English Reading and Phonics Workshop was held on 21st September 2023 for Year 3 and Year 4. It was designed to share with parents some key reading routines and effective reading strategies for developing reading as a habit. This was an excellent opportunity for parents to learn various strategies to support their child at home with his/her reading skills and engage in constructive and fruitful reading sessions. Parents found the workshops quite effective and supportive. It helped them explore varied strategies that they can use to further promote their child/ren’s reading habits and develop their reading skills at home. The workshop started on time and finished on time. Resources and activities were thoughtfully planned and skillfully used to enhance parents’ learning experiences.
