International Literacy Day 2023

8th September was declared as international literacy day by UNESCO on 26th October 1966. Students conducted the session, sharing the importance of Literacy and why it is important for everyone to be literate. The students of year 3 participated in word search and poster making activities focusing on vocabulary building skills as well as analytical skills. They shared their opinion on the significance of Literacy Day. Parent Hewyda Mamdouh Ahmed and her daughter Reem Ahmed of 3I narrated a fable in Arabic emphasizing the importance of language in Literacy. They also spoke about the importance of reading and writing for all children. All the activities were thoroughly enjoyed by the students. Overall, it was an active and insightful learning experience.
