The English Week was organized on Monday, 19th September for Year 3. The aim was to nurture literary skills & other 21st-century skills in learners (e.g., creativity, design thinking, creative expression, imagination, vocabulary, language, communication, etc.) through a variety of engaging activities. It was an opportunity for students to enhance their speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills which are the four areas needed to master a language. An array of activities such as designing a diorama that centered around a fable and was to be created with recycled or reusable material, choosing a fable, then sequencing the parts of the fable and predicting your own ending, guessing the meaning of the climate change vocabulary by looking at the pictures, creating a sustainability fact file while creating sentences using homophones.
